Synopsis
The journey begins with a simple motto - Family First. In the backdrop lies the 2008 financial meltdown, the Chicago Way, an entitled private school, and a naive settler. Raminder Chadha, a Realtor and recent settler in Chicago, faced the same schooling conundrum for his young family that many face daily within the Chicago Public Schools system. He decided to make his move into the "right" neighborhood by purchasing a property he could reasonably afford/rehab. What follows next is the tale of the same property being needed by a private school bent on fueling its own necessary growth. Two conflicting narratives of a family versus a private school collide to expose the Chicago Way. The case is still pending after 4 years of litigation. |
